Bapu's Visit to Audumber and Satara

Param Poojya Sadguru Aniruddha Bapu

On the ultimate and the final day, 1st May 2013, Param Poojya Sadguru Aniruddha Bapu started for Audumber to take darshan of Shree Dattaguru.

After taking darshan of Lord Dattaguru, Sadguru Aniruddha Bapu met Shri. Venkatraman Dikshit-Shastri the Principal Trustee and President of the Sadguru Narayananandteerth Seva Trust, which runs a free school and a hostel for students.

Here Bapu was greeted by the entire management of the Trust and was awarded a memento out of respect. Here again Bapu delivered His discourse to a mammoth gathering which included many dignitaries.

Finally Bapu proceeded to Satara where he visited the house of the Pramukh Sevak of Satara Upasana Centre, Pravinsinh Pawar. Pravinsinh performed Padya-poojan of Sadguru Aniruddha Bapu. Here again Bapu delivered His discourse to a packed gathering of shraddhavans.

Bapu's Visit to Vita & Revansiddha

Sadguru Aniruddha was visiting Vita

30th April 2013, the penultimate day of Bapu's visit. Sadguru Aniruddha was visiting Vita on a special invitation from its Town Council.

Honouring the cordial invitation, Bapu arrived in the town of Vita, where He was welcomed by the then MLA of Vita, Shri. Sadashivbhau Patil and its former Mayor Shri. Vaibhav Patil.

After being greeted by a colourful fanfare and a warm welcome, Sadguru Aniruddha Bapu proceeded to have darshan of Shree Revannath, one of the nine Naths,  in the town  of Revansiddha. Here Param Poojya Sadguru Aniruddha Bapu performed poojan and consecration of the idol of Shree Revannath.

Here again, Param Poojya Bapu, out of love for the large unprecedentedly gathered crowds, delivered His discourse at the temple of Shree Revannath. Bapu's voice was clearly audible sans any vocal instrument in the entire temple complex though it was spread over a large area.

On his way back Bapu had a brief stopover at Cattle Camp which was run by the local Chemists association. Param Poojya Bapu took the darshan of Lord Hanuman, at a beautiful temple that was present in this Camp complex. The camp was functioning voluntarily in this drought-prone region and was the only support and hope for the cattle of poor farmers in the region. Cattle in this Camp were maintained for free by the Association.

Finally on the way to the Adarsh Institute of Technology and Research Centre, Bapu on the request of Shri. Vaibhav Pati briefly stopped for the Bhoomipoojan ceremony of the hospital that was being constructed by Adarsh Institute.

After performing the bhoomipoojan, Bapu proceeded towards Adarsh Institute of Technology and Research Centre. After briefly meeting the dignitaries already present there, Bapu addressed the gathering of the entire staff of the Institute.

Satsang for Volunteers

The next day Aniruddha  Bapu met some visiting dignitaries who had personally come to see Him at the hotel where He was put up. After the long queue of meetings with the ever-increasing visitors, Bapu proceeded in the evening for Satsang.

This satsang was held by volunteers of all the Upasana Centres across Western Maharashtra.

Bapu made a short address to the volunteers present and then continuing from the previous day the celebration of love and devotion began again. Hundreds of volunteers, along with Bapu danced to the rhythms of the gajars and simple yet devotion-filled songs that were sung by local volunteers.

The pomp and grandeur continued for more than an hour. After this fanfare Bapu Himself got down from the stage and walked into the gathering of volunteers.

It was indeed a sweet surprise for all those who were present. It was those rarest occasion when they were getting to see Bapu from such a close quarter. The event finally ended with a dinner hosted for the volunteers.

An overview of day 2 at sangli : Discourse Place

Day 2 i.e. Sunday, 28th April 2013 was the main day of Param Poojya Sadguru Aniruddha Bapu’s visit.

The day was slated to feature discourse of Param Poojya Sadguru Aniruddha Bapu at Bharatratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Stadium of Sangli. This was the occasion when almost every Shraddhavan friend of Sadguru Aniruddha from the region of Western Maharashtra had flocked to meet his beloved Sadguru. The discourse was schedule for 5:00 pm in the evening and yet Shraddhavans had started to gather at the Stadium right from 6:30 am in the morning. They had come in whatever form of transportation that they could get. It was amazing to see the zeal and enthusiasm of these Shraddhavans, who had gathered to catch atleast a glimpse of Aniruddha Bapu.

Finally the most awaited moment neared. Every possible place in the Stadium had been occupied well before the discourse was to start. Hundreds of dignitaries had also thronged along with the Shraddhavans for Sadguru Bapu’s discourse. The gathering was totally unprecedented. Even the police officials who were present for the security of the event mentioned that Sangli had seen visits of important people, celebrities and leaders from all walks and quarters, some even of national stature, yet the gathering which they were witnessing that day had out-numbered all those visits and public gatherings at this very Stadium.

Finally Param Poojya Bapu arrived. Even His silhouette in the dusking sun was mesmerising the crowds. The event started with Param Poojya Sadguru Aniruddha Bapu laying the Foundation Stone for the refurbishment of the Stadium. The Mayor of Sangli welcomed Param Poojya Sadguru Aniruddha Bapu for this inauguration.

Beginning with prayers Param Poojya Aniruddha Bapu proceeded with His discourse. Bapu spoke for about an hour. Shraddhavans were listening in rapt attention to their Sadguru. It was Bapu, Bapu and Bapu all over.

The enthralling discourse followed with an exuberant chanting of Gajars. Shraddhavans drenched themselves in the tunes of love and devotion in presence of their Sadguru. What followed gajars were the endless waves of Shraddhavan who had queued since morning to catch atleast a glimpse of their Sadguru.

Shraddhavans were not leaving the stadium even after the darshan of Sadguru; they were there in the Stadium itself, their eyes fixed on Bapu.

Aniruddha Bapu’s Arrival at Sangli

During April 2013 Param Pujya Sadguru Aniruddha Bapu visited Sangli and its adjoining districts to meet all his Shraddhavan friends over there. He also delivered a discourse that was attended by thousands of Shraddhavans.

Bapu started from Mumbai on the morning of 27th April 2013. Pujya Samirdada also accompanied Bapu during this visit.

Param Pujya Sadguru Aniruddha Bapu was given a rousing  welcome at Tilak Chowk, Sangli by thousands of Shraddhavans who had gathered to catch a glimpse of their beloved Sadguru Aniruddha. Bapu reached Sangli at around 5:30 pm in the evening.

The huge congregation of Shraddhavans included the who’s who of Sangli and its adjoining districts. They had all gathered to receive Param Poojya Sadguru Aniruddha Bapu. The programme was led by the Mayor of Sangli.

Shraddhavans from the entire Western Maharashtra had erected a special stage to welcome Bapu.This was accompanied by Lejhim and dhol played by the Shraddhavans to welcome Bapu. 

After the grand welcome, Bapu proceeded to Hotel Grand Maratha where his staying arrangements were made for the next 4 days. Shraddhavans made a beeline in front of the Hotel to catch a glimpse of their Sadguru.
